Gameweek 29, and the team v Tottenham

I don’t really overreact if I say some crucial games are ahead of the team, do I?

To start with, it’s a must win situation against Spurs. After the cup defeat by Arsenal, it’s once again time to bounce back and hit the accelerator. Utd can do that, and have already done that a couple of times this season, still, it is a worry.

But, with RVP out, there’s room for either Falcao or Wilson – and I suggest the latter, as poor old Radamel seems like someone who can’t really cope with the requirements of the Premier League. And with di Maria out too, Mata should start a game, really.

As for Valencia, as much as I like him it is time to drop the guy from the right back position and let Rafael have a go. He made his point with the U21 team. There is my team for the game:

Predictions for Round 26 with my daughter

Well, well, weekend again and the next round with some spicy matches like City v Newcastle and Soton v ‘Pool, not to mention the London derby of Spurs and West Ham – the last time they met in the Premier League at White Hart Lane the Hammers won three-nil.

And ManUtd travel to Swansea for a rather tricky fixture – although even Moyes could get three points there. But Swansea got all that three points back from Utd at the beginning of this season (and do you remember Moyes’ FA Cup disaster among other disasters?).

Anyway, as to the predictions, I have a challenger in my daughter, she’s six year old and quite keen to beat me. As ever, feel free to leave your predictions either in a comment or through the form provided below.

So, not the best of result, a very average 6 point for me, but that’s exactly 6 point more than my daughter’s! She hasn’t managed a single point, unfortunately – seems like I need to do more in terms of helping her…

Predictions, Round 24

So, weekend again, with some FA Cup action in between, and some mouthwatering derbies in London and in Liverpool.

What are your predictions for this round?

So, it was a round with a couple of interesting results, but I managed a perfect one, but otherwise it was a quite week for me. 6 points is a bed result, I guess. Anyway, new round is here at midweek, so no rest!
